someone do a study on the correlation between hgtv and the housing crisis please
#those shows made flipping look like an easy way to make large profit#so many people thought they could do a shitty flip#and take an affordable fixer upper and turn it into something out of most peoples price range#by putting lipstick on a duck#and then theres the costs of fixing shoddy flips#like- idk#obviously short term rentals like airbnb#and the corporate buying of residential property are huge problems#but im adding hgtv to the list of things to blame
